For a man to start writing about how amazing women are, can easily lead into sexual innuendo and smut. However, for this writer who has been in a six year relationship, I have discovered that despite their inability to open jars, their obsession with silly things like laser hair removal haywards heath that they think they need to look good, the constant pausing of films for toilet breaks and the random moving of my keys and wallet, the opposite sex has a lot to offer.

Firstly, and I cannot stress this enough, sex is incredibly important. I think that’s all that needs to be said about that really. I’m sure a female writer would go into a detailed explanation of how it brings a couple closer together, but I’ll stick with ‘sex is great’.

Instead it is all the other little, less important things that make women truly amazing.

For example, my girlfriend returned home with a box of my favourite cereal as she had noticed I had run out. You may think this trivial, but she walked through the door at the exact moment I had noticed I was out of crunchy nut clusters and was in mid-despair about having to walk to the shops.

Next, they like to tidy. Now I’m not a messy guy, but I’d be hard-pressed to voluntarily dust my place. My girlfriend, however, feels that she has to do it once every couple of weeks – normally when I’m out of the house visiting friends. Never underestimate how amazing it is to come back to a clean house without having done anything towards it!

And finally, they take care of us. Really, they do. Granted it might seem like needless mothering at times, but there is nothing better than getting a cooked dinner when you’ve had a bad day, being tended to if you’re ill or even have someone listen to when you’re ranting about something inconsequential.

It’s all the more amazing because as men, we know that if the shoe was on the other foot; our efforts would be half-hearted at the most. That’s why women are amazing.

Men ARE simple creatures-not because of nature or nurture it’s how they choose to be. To achieve happiness they want what anyone wants: respect, love, admiration, care and friendship but on their terms and when they are ready for it. In return they give what they can when they can; there are many types of men but the ‘ladies man’ has a mystery and confidence and unassuming nature that both excites and appeals to the broadest range of women who are subsequently intrigued, assured and interested by these men.

There are as always stereotypical dates- the dinners, the walks and so on which work initially with a hint of originality (dinner on a canal boat-near miss until she saw the funny side of it) but these have to be interspersed with dates she appreciates (eg. She loves cycling-pub crawl? or staying in those Second hand campervans for the weekend?). Yet in this day and age both sexes are jaded and tend to see romance (or the like) as a thing for later on-but if you take the time and effort-the vibrant hopeful woman will re-appear and your efforts will ALWAYS be rewarded.

Each woman wants to be the one you remember-in other word the one that left a mark and got under your skin and so must be treated as a friend, lover and woman simultaneously. If you don’t want very much for very long, say so and see her reaction as nowadays, especially in the city ‘gentlemen’s agreements’ are increasingly popular for the Mrs. Right-Now.

A genuine success has been always with someone you never expect-it doesn’t have to be forever but for the moment it feels good. She maybe anybody but something (humour, likes, looks) makes you want to see more and a genuine interest will always be appreciated-anything forced will be spotted and duly noted.

Serial dating can be fun and also a learning curve and you can find a few things out about yourself along the way but watch yourself and maintain the perspective of living in the moment to enjoy your time the most.

There are many reasons why men just love women, however the most common and the strongest of them is their sexual drive. Even though both the male and female brain work alike, they also posses some interesting differences. One of the major differences is in the area of sexual pursuit which is 2.5 percent larger than the female brain. This is the primary forerunner of a man’s desire to love a woman. Now it’s not just the sexual pursuit of man that is the key factor, but right after that is his emotional need, which cannot be better addressed than by a woman. Women have the part of their brain which tries to ‘feel what you feel’ much larger and more active than men. Which is why when a man longs for someone to understand him or want someone to console him, it is the women who can rightfully address the issue by reading men’s facial expressions and the tone of their voice.

These are two of the major reasons why men not only do they love and follow the women but they also need them to be perfect in everything that they do. Yes men also love their possessions and what is better than possessing a tender, beautiful, hot and loving women. They can die for it, they have killed for it and they will continue to pursue it.

One of the most commonly known features about girls is that they can talk and that they love to talk. If you can get them into conversation with you or show yourself as an interesting guy to converse with, then I can bet you are not single. Most guys who find it hard to attract girls are not very good with talking. Even though I never felt confident about talking to any girl at the very first confrontation, I knew if only I could get her number and call her when I am comfortably sitting in my bedroom, I was sure I would get her. Reason being I could talk over the phone more confidently and use the benefit of my manly voice. Once you can start a conversation, then you have to make sure that firstly you should control the conversation, which will give the signals that you are confident and secondly you have to make sure that the conversation is interesting by adding some natural humor to it. I believe anybody can be humorous, if you just be yourself and speak out the funny things that come in your mind. Now once you get your girl talking, you certainly have the things moving. Talk to her as much as possible, make her laugh. You can talk about anything, your day, financial advice, as long as you make her laugh. When you make a person really laugh, that person will even think about you when you are not around and would laugh unknowingly remembering your joke. Make your girl think about you, even when you are not around. As soon as you are talking more than ten minutes a day, you should prepare to ask her out. Now there are many ways to ask a girl out, but I like this sentence that always worked: Let’s meet up! Trust me this works, it sounds like it’s a joint decision and that this was not a game which she would loose if she comes out with you. And don’t call it a date, though at the end of the day it is one just that let her decide it for herself.

Mr Micheal knew what he was talking about when he wrote that. There are many things that a man loves about a woman, the way she looks, the way she feels, the way she smells even, however in truth there is nothing like a woman who is crazy in the sack to make a man sit up and really take note.

Now do not get me wrong sex is not everything, but as us men are not that keen on shopping for shoes and you ladies often do not truly appreciate the sublime skill of Xabi Alonso, it is one of the areas where you typically get our full and undivided attention. He’s a Spanish footballer by the way. See, you’re not interested.

And when it comes to sex there really is nothing like a lady that is crazy for it. A beautiful body and a gleam in the eye married to a sense of adventure is guaranteed to put steam in a man’s trousers like you would not believe.

Looking round a castle dungeon at the end of a long corridor is not normally the sort of place to get down and dirty but when your with the right type of girl adventures of a historical nature take on a whole new and fun meaning. Go mountain climbing with a crazy lady and see how much more fun that is. Somehow these outdoor girls are able to make saucony running shoes look as sexy as high heels…

Men love that stuff girls. You wanting sex makes us want it, and you, more. That doesn’t mean being cheap it means wanting us. That could in fact be the biggest of all aphrodisiacs. I was in a large gallery in Vancouver with a girl when she turned to me and said ’Shall we…’well after I picked my jaw up we found a place and we did. With me it went like this:

I walked in to the careers office. Margaret was the ruler of this domain. She was a tough looking, power-suit comandeering, battle-axe of a woman renowned for her fierceness, and she had fiery red hair (and it has to be said need for breast reduction…). Margaret sat me down and asked me to rack my brains for what I considered my good qualities. As I looked at the list on the piece of A4 paper (I was to tick the relevant boxes such as ‘outgoing’ and ‘determined’ etc, that matched my character), Margaret watched me, her eyes boring a hole in my head. After I was finished Margaret took the paper and fed it in to her computer. She promised me that these results would be converted in to a number of matching work-experience placements.

The following day Margaret called me back in to her domain and gave me the news. Instead of going to work in a printing studio I was given only one choice: to go to the local hospital to be a ’’maintenance man’'for the month. When I arrived on my first day it turned out that I was to do little maintaining, except of the forecourt outside A and E, where I was to pick up fag ends with a man with a funny leg called Rodger–

I was the skinniest, weediest, most insect-like translucent boy in my class. It took me years to shed this awful beginning and become a full-grown three-dimensional man who women wanted to be with (and I’m not quite there yet it has to be said). I thought I’d finally found the perfect body-weight and look, and then, the other day, something horrifying happened when I was out with some friends.

The two girls in our group were staring at this skinny guy with glasses. He had a scarf around his neck and was loitering in the shopping precinct in town, looking all weak and fashionable and straight up and down as if basically a stick. Then one of the girls, Jess, said, “I love his skinny feeble stick-man look!”

Us men took this as a joke to begin with, but it soon became very clear that it was no joke. Jess was dead serious. Us men were scared. For a moment I needed a distraction, so I got out my iphone and started looking at anything. In this case ‘anything’ happened to be 24 hour fuel oil suppliers in North America.

“Stop it,” I said, “you two are being outright disgusting.”

I was sticking my chest out. This was unconscious, up until that moment.

“But seriously,” said Amanda, “check out his body!”

As covertly as we could, we checked out his body and all agreed it was despicably thin, week and prisoner-of-war pathetic.

John said, “you’d snap him in two!"and we laughed. And that was when the skinny git put his hand up and smiled and Jess and Amanda went so red that we could literally feel the heat coming off them.

If only they’d been at school with me, I thought, how times would have been different.
