Humans, period

People have always made a big deal out of the differences between men and women, just as they have made a big deal out of the importance of equal rights, and Skin rejuvenation therapy for people who sit out in the Sun for hours, even though they know they shouldn’t. Not only the differences between men and women, but the things which make each sex better in some way than the other. Take multi-tasking for example. Drink?

Back at university I was never like the others. I just didn’t see the point of drinking alcohol, and so I didn’t, and it presented a number of problems which to begin with were actually pretty frustrating. As far as alcohol went it was like this: it tasted OK, but not as good as Ribena, and it made me feel physically sick, which was something that didn’t feel as good as not feeling physically sick. What would the world be like without religion? Well, for starters Read the rest of this entry »

Shutter Island

When I saw that Martin Scorsese would be donning his Director hat once again to create the dark thriller; Shutter Island, a few months ago, I was intrigued to say the least. Scorsese has a history of making successful films and he risen to become on of the best Directors out there. He is certainly one of my favourites.

In Shutter Island, he reunites himself with old favourite and accomplished actor; Leonardo Di Caprio. Di Caprio has starred in several Read the rest of this entry »
